Of workshops and mutinies

If you are to move in to a new center, there are several things you need to work out first. Communication, procedures, economical stuff, actually all kinds of stuff. And that could take time, a lot of time. But if one is somewhat sneakily smart, one turns the whole thing into a democratic workshop for the research groups on a remote island in the Stockholm archipelago. That way one can laze around under the cover of being democratic as the work gets done.

However, even the sneakiest PI can only conceal what is going on for so long, and if the weather is nice enough the groups will commit mutiny and bum off to the water-front for a break in the sun. Oh well, I guess a certain amount of mutiny is good for the team spirit.
